Who are the people behind MAHAAH?

MAHAAH is powered by 4 women on a mission to make person centred, evidenced based healthcare the norm.

Dr Gabrielle Macaulay is one our four female founders. She’s not quiet with her opinions having sharing her views on Channel 4, BBC and Channels TV. With extra training in endocrinology, women’s health and functional medicine she is passionate about putting out the fire that fuels chronic disease. Inflammation is the bedrock of modern diseases and she works with her patients to address this, using the best of traditional and lifestyle medicine.

Dr Folusha Oluwajana is our Head of Personal Training and Exercise. She is a portfolio GP in North London with 9 years’ experience. She has a First Class BSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is a qualified personal trainer. She takes a unique, holistic approach to health and wellness by combining her medical background with exercise medicine and personal training.

Katie Ormerod is a registered healthcare care professional with 10 years’ experience working in the NHS and private healthcare sector as a paramedic and advanced practitioner. She obtained a distinction in PGDip Nutritional Therapy and is a registered BANT Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapist with The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

Dr Carol Ndlovu is an experienced general practitioner based in London. She has undergone further training in occupational medicine and women’s health. She also brings experience in anti-ageing, skin health and rejuvenation to Mahaah, having previously set up her own aesthetic clinic. She enjoys optimising her patients’ wellness journey, incorporating a multi-discipline approach.

Collectively, we have several decades of experience within the medical industry, during which we observed that many of our clients desired bespoke health optimisation - using a holistic approach. Instead, too often they received an 'either or' approach - traditional medicine or complemetary medicine. Where health is concerned, there is often a synergistic effect when experts correctly utilise a combined approach. .

Thus MAHAAH was born. The MAHAAH way - an apple a day and the doctor may stay...
